Doppstadt SM620 Profi (v2)

The Doppstadt SM620 Profi is a trommel screen built around a 2 m diameter, 5.5 m long drum that gives 30.2 m² of screening area — enough surface to keep throughput high even with damp or sticky material.

Any screen media can be fitted, so the same machine produces compost, soil, bark or aggregate fractions depending on what you install. A 5 m³ feed hopper takes a full loader bucket, and two conveyors — main and side — build separate stockpiles at around 3.5 m discharge height without repositioning.

Running costs are the real argument here: a 102 hp Mercedes-Benz engine drives the whole machine, which is a fraction of what shredding equipment consumes.

The machine has undergone a full overhaul and is in as-new technical condition.

Screening pays off where you sell a graded product rather than bulk material, and the SM620 Profi does it at a running cost far below any shredder. Swapping the screen media takes the same machine from compost to aggregates, and after a full overhaul this unit works like new — but at a used-machine price.
